Cable Care

Disconnect/connect cables by the connector body, please do not pull by the cable. Even though our connectors incorporate excellent strain relief clamps, consistent abuse will eventually cause performance problems.

Avoid tight (90 degree) bends wherever possible, especially at the connector.

Please don't squash your cables under heavy furniture!

Please don't let pets or children chew the cables!

Avoid EXCESS heat and moisture!

Video/SPDIF/Digital Audio Cables

These oxygen free copper cables are 'coaxial'. The signal travels down a center conductor, insulated with a dialectic material designed to prevent signal loss and interference. This assembly is then wrapped in a braided 'shield' which carries the signal ground and prevents internal signal loss, at the same time preventing external interference. These connectors are 'crimped' during assembly. We add cable 'boots' for extra strain relief, and optional descriptive laminate labels for easier cable identification.

Audio Cables

These oxygen free copper cables are stranded conductors surrounded by a foil and a braided shield . The shield serves the same purpose as above. These connectors are soldered during assembly with silver alloy solder, for enhanced performance, and feature rugged metal connector housings with an additional built in metal strain relief. (Actually, the coaxial cable can also be used for your audio cables!) Optional 'add ons' include the descriptive laminate label pictured above for cable identification
